Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a clear front-facing photo with your face large in the centre of the frame, mouth open.

• Pose and framing: This template is framed from the front and above, on all fours, with your face in the centre facing the camera. Pick a photo with your face large and centred.
• Eyes: Look at the camera with your eyes open and your face unobstructed.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered, with nothing in front of your lips.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: back views, faces turned away, mouths covered, distant photos, dark or blurry photos.
