Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a clear photo lying on your side, upper body propped up, looking at the camera.

• Pose and framing: This template is framed from the side, lying on your side with your upper body propped up, one hand down and knees bent. Pick a photo that matches that lying-on-your-side framing.
• Eyes: Look at the camera with your eyes open and your face unobstructed.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth area uncovered in the photo.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: standing photos, faces turned away, distant photos, dark or blurry photos.
